Renaissance Park has a great trail tucked away right in the middle of Charlotte. The trail is not too long, but is a lot of fun and multiple loops could be done for more mileage. Some areas of the trail are technically demanding with rocks and roots on a tight single track and even a couple steep descents. This is probably the most demanding trail in Charlotte proper.
